Crispin Vacuum Priming Valves are used in conjunction with a vacuum source when priming a centrifugal pump. It prevents liquid from getting into a vacuum source, and functions as a clean water and sewage priming valve. The VP works in clean water applications, while the VSL provides the same function as the VP, with the exception of an elongated body to handle sewage solids.
